Greetings Tom D! Lots of interesting sounds this month. I definitely traveled through the Time Machine listening to Wire Train. I swear I heard a mellotron in Crashing Back To You. Cateys rocked, Lilies grooved, Amnesia tripped (very cool stereo phasing), Uncle creative. Very eclectic and enjoyable mix of tunes. Dig you next time. Btw, did Mommyheads use a theremin?

It definitely sounds like a mellotron on the Wire Train song. I've always been a sucker for that sound... Makes me think of The Moody Blues :-)

On the Mommyheads track, what you're hearing, that sounds like a theremin, is probably actually a musical saw... If I recall correctly, their bass player, Jeff Palmer, sometimes played one...
