great stuff here. all punk classics (even thought I am not the biggest Suicide fan).

"Then I'll be ten feet tall
And you'll be nothing at all"

one of my favorite lines!

I always thought the Dictators were overlooked. The album cover for Girl Crazy is one of the best (and funniest) ever.

Some profundity from The Dictators:

"We've reached a higher spiritual plane
That is so high, I can't explain
We tell jokes to make you laugh
We play sports so we don't get fat!"

The Dictators' lyrics always seemed pretty tongue-in-cheek... I wonder if that worked against them, in terms of reaching greater popularity...

Another killer set. Always loved that Adverts tune, but didn't know anything about the band, until now, and wikipedia! Dang, his corneas really did go to a recipient! It's like a twilight zone episode...in real life.

"The Adverts were a prolific live act. Their first nationwide tour was with Stiff labelmates the Damned. The tour poster read: "The Adverts know one chord, the Damned know three. See all four at..."[9] Later they would support Iggy Pop on tour, as well as conducting their own headlining tours in Britain, Ireland and continental Europe.[6]"

Someone really is "looking through Gary Gilmore's eyes..." It's kinda freaky, right?
