Ten Years!!!

This month marks TEN YEARS of podcasting here at Sonic Daydream. Woo-hoo!

That said, I must admit that 44 podcasts over the course of 10 years is a bit underwhelming—I wish I could’ve done three times as many—but hey, I aim for quality, not quantity.

If the stats on my file server are to be believed, there’s been over 82,000 downloads of Sonic Daydream podcasts by people in over 100 countries around the world!

On this momentous occasion, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank the small group of loyal listeners who regularly take time to post comments sharing their excitement about the music and offering kind words. Hearing from you folks is the best reward I can imagine for my efforts here. My love of discovering and sharing the lesser-heard sounds of rock’n’roll history is motivation enough for me, but hearing from people out there who also have excitement for this music is the cherry on top!

What’s next, you wonder? Probably a few more episodes of The Hard Stuff, as I still have a stack of tasty hard-rock tracks that I want to share, and then it’ll be time to change things up again. I’m currently deciding whether to revisit a genre previously explored or to jump into something completely new. Stay tuned...
